Backflushing adalah prosedur pembersihan wajib di akhir hari operasional. Proses ini menggunakan blind filter (filter buntu) dan deterjen khusus mesin espresso untuk membersihkan jalur group head dari residu minyak kopi (crema) yang menumpuk. Semi-Automatic: Barista mengontrol volume ekstraksi secara manual (menekan tombol untuk memulai dan menghentikan aliran air). Mesin ini memberikan kontrol penuh, ideal untuk specialty coffee tetapi menuntut konsistensi barista.
